In standard math we did lesson on multilpying and dividing integers. Assignment is in the workbook pages 97 and 98. The sections of the book are 11-6 and 11-7 in the textbook.
Accellerated math we reviewed the test from yesterday. Today’s lesson was on solving multistep equations This is section 10-2 in textbook. Assignment is in workbook page 80
Standard math we worked on adding integers. This is lesson 11-4 in the textbook. We worked problems 1-50 on pages 619 and 620.
Accellerated math lesson today was on scientific notation. Assignment is in textbook page 98 problems 1-42..Tomorrow we will review sections form Chapter 2 for test that will be Monday..
Standard math we learned about positive and negative integers and ordering and comparing them…we reviewed the results of yesterdays graphing test. Todays leson were section 11-1 amd 11-2 in textbook.
Accellerated math had lesson on working with negative exponents. Written lesson is page 17 from the workbook. Lesson is on pages 92-93 in textbook. Tomorrows lesson will be over scientific notations
Standard math took graphing test in class today….
Accellerated math worked on the properties of exponents…classwork was in textbook page 90 problems 2-42 even.
We will have lessons on negative exponents and scientific notation and look to have our next test Friday over these lessons and positive and negative integers.
Continuing our review for CRCT we review perimeter, area, and volume. We worked page 285 form standard math book. Accellerated work the same page for review as standard. They were given copies of the textbook page. Remember that the online practice test can still be used over the weekend. Rest up for a good week of testing next week!!
We are continuing our review for CRCT…stand work problems at the end of Chapters 1, 2, and 3 on pages 48-49,98-99 and 158-159. Accellerated math work problems in their books on pages 57, 109, and 171. Don’t forgot to work the online practice CRCT test for extra math credit….
We continued with our CRCT review. Our review topics for today were portional relationships and rates and ratios…we reviewed playing a game with no written assignment today…dont forget to work the practice CRCT practice tests online for extra credit …
Continuing our CRCT review we reviewed performing all four mathematical operations on fractions. Written homework assignment was in the standard math book page 285. Accellerated students were given a copy of this page to work. Dont forgot to take advantage of the online CRCT pratice tests that all students have the password to take online.
In both standard and accellerated math we reviewed fractions, decimals, and percents. Students were given worksheet for homework for review. At home this week students should work on the CRCT practice tests online. All students were given a sticker to put on the front page of their agenda to access these online practice tests.
Standard math we had lesson on theoretical probablity. This is lesson 12-4 in our textbook. Written assignment is textbook page 684 problems 2-20 even.
Accellerated math our lesson was on variblilty. We had learned about quartiles and constructing box andwhisker plots. This is section 4-4 in textbook. No written assignment for today.
